Clean the interior first. Exterior washing can splash water or soap into the cabin if doors are opened. Cleaning the interior first also prevents you from tracking dirt back inside after the exterior is done.
I never noticed, but do vehicle interior cleaning products expire?
All cleaning products expire sooner or later. However, the expiry date can differ by manufacturer. Some can still be effective for up to five years as long as they have been kept in a cool, dry place. As a basic policy, if you observe a modification in the item's look or efficiency (or a rancid odor), toss it away.
